It’s nearly 70 degrees in Boston for the first time all year. The sun is shining, and yet I find myself inside writing a paper (as I like to think of it, I am about five papers away from graduation). I can choose to be down about this, and many other things going on in my life, or I can choose to be positive.
Happiness is a choice. It is not an easy on/off switch, but it is up to you. That being said, some of the mantras I’ve slowly started to accept are:
-Happiness is not a destination; it is a part of the journey.
-Negativity will attract negativity; positivity will attract positivity.
-I am exactly where I need to be.
This article on HuffPost inspired me and I hope it will inspire you, too.
