Thais Menendez is a Cuban-American trilingual SAG-AFTRA/AEA actress, producer, and writer who has appeared onstage & onscreen in English, Spanish, and French. A Miami native and a graduate of Boston College with a BA in Theatre & English, Thais can be seen on “The Bold & The Beautiful” (CBS) and “While You Were Breeding.” She was most recently seen onstage as Maria Celia in Two Sisters and a Piano (Miami New Drama, written & directed by Nilo Cruz) and Miranda in El Huracán (GableStage, written by Charise Castro Smith & directed by Dámaso Rodriguez).

Thais is the co-founder of Quien Te Manda Productions, a Latina-led production company dedicated to uplifting underrepresented voices in the film industry. She wrote and starred in QTM’s first film, Badass, which reached its fundraising goal in 48 hours and was selected for the 2024 LA Shorts International Film Festival.

Thais is named after the opera by Jules Massenet, inspired by her grandmother’s time as a singer in Cuba. Thais enjoys planing her next trip abroad, surfing in warm waters, and baking elaborate yet imperfect desserts.
